Yeah, I learned after the show…not long after, maybe last night; in other words, too late to jump in the car and bust ass down to Windsor Locks Airport Concert Center Extravaganza…that Allman was sick and couldn’t make it.
No offense, but (as I’ve already stated) I’d seen Allman solo about 25 years ago and didn’t need to do it again. Had I known that it was just gonna be BH and Bela with Jaimoe, I woulda gone. Oh well.
Apparently it’s been known since 8/6 that Gregg wasn’t gonna be able to make it…was that posted here or at BH’s site and/or FB site? Hope that Allman gets better soon, so don’t take me the wrong way…
From JC’s setlist, it doesn’t look like BH did a longer show anyhoo….

I don’t know what the original intended length of sets was supposed to be but how it ended up was:
Opener: 1 hour
Bela Fleck & Flecktones: ~1 hour 15 minutes
