Apologies for our earlier goof-up in posting a show that had already been shared on this very website…!
We’ve deleted the most recent page, and you can still download the original show from Roanoke, VA, recorded in 1988. It’s also a Range show.
This one goes back even further, to a show at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum (now the O.co Coliseum) and home to baseball’s Oakland Athletics in 1986. We think this may have been a set to open for the Grateful Dead, although we can’t find a Dead setlist for that date.
So if you can forgive the earlier duplicate posting, here’s a replacement. Our continued best wishes to MVF for a return to full health are carried over from the earlier (deleted) post!
Huey Lewis joins for the last two songs: Down the Road Tonight and Jacob’s Ladder. The latter was famously covered by Huey Lewis and the News before Bruce released it on Scenes from the Southside.
