Every now and then, a gem surfaces that nobody knew existed – this is one of them! From Bruce’s European tour in 1993, here’s a show from Copenhagen’s Jazzhus. Thanks as always to Bruce for being so generous in allowing these to circulate.

The band in 1993 (immediately post-Range) was a quartet, sans guitar – Bruce, John Molo (drums), Jimmy Haslip (bass) and John “J.T.” Thomas (keyboards), who of course remains to this day.
The Jazzhus is a TINY venue, but they were no lacking in fervour, and the band no less exuberant. This gig came right after the release of Harbor Lights. so plenty from that record and, common with the European tips in particular, some rare requests.
