Anyone here planning on going to the Beale Street Blues Festival next week? Bruce is scheduled to play Saturday at 7.
Yonder Mountain String Band and Huey Lewis will also be there that day, so I wonder if we can expect those former collaborators to get together again?
I will be at Beale Street seeing Bruce since I’m in school ot here. Check your time, though. I though I looked last night and he is playing at 8:20 on Saturday night. I went to the ST Louis solo show a week ago and mentioned to Wanye Pooly (bruce’s sound man and producer) that Huey Lewis was also playing the same day, and he was unaware of that. Said he would mention it to Bruce but not to hold your breath for anything on stage. I agree, though, it would be really cool to see the two reunite.
