Now we all know how Bruce and the band like to do medleys live, either his own songs or those of others, like ‘Mandolin Rain’ into ‘Black Muddy River’ or ‘Fortuate Son’ into ‘Comfortably Numb,’ etc.
I was thinking that a good medley to hear would be ‘Halcyon Days’ into a bit of ‘Easy Like Sunday Morning’ by The Commodores. I just think that would work well.
Wow, this is eerie! I was listening to “Halcyon Days” a couple of days ago and thought of the same medley. I wrote the idea down for the purpose of adding it to Si’s “Unusual Requests” list next summer. Guess the ESP vibe on the east coast was working overtime this week; or maybe I was just tuning in to Top 40 radio way too much in the late 70s

Y’know another medley I was thinking of could be “What the Hell Happened?” into “Nothing Ever Happens on Mars,” from the film ‘Waiting for Guffman.’ That movie and song are hilarious, the same guys who did the music for ‘This is Spinal Tap.’
