ParticipantI have some good news and some bad news.
The good news is that tickets for the Summer Series at Biltmore will go on sale Wednesday, May 23.
The bad news is that no contracts from any artists including Bruce have been signed.
So, don’t know if Bruce is coming to Biltmore or not.
Stay tuned for updates!David Day

ParticipantI have an update from Biltmore!
This year’s concert series will be only in August on Friday & Saturday nights. You can look at Bruce’s schedule and eliminate several weekends because of already booked shows and not being in the SE USA.
Check it out! It doesn’t leave much room.
What do you think? Is Bruce going to do a Noisemakers Show at Biltmore?

ParticipantOkay, I finally figured out why Bruce isn’t playing the Biltmo’ this year. It’s because all the stellar acts signed up to play outshine him so in talent!!!!
Here’s the line-up:
Aug. 1 – Chicago
Aug. 3 – Kenny Rogers
Aug. 4 – The B-52s (remember ‘Rock Lobster”???)
Aug. 10 – Chris Isaak (how would you like to see him jam with BH?)
Aug. 11 – Clay Aiken with the Asheville Symphony (well, I’m not a native North Carolinian)I mean, with acts like these (no offense if there are some true fans out there—I myself cut my musical teeth on early Chicago), how could Bruce compete??????????

I agree that the likes of Chicago and the B-52s would be great to hear in concert, but let me put this in perspective as a Thought From A Road Scholar.
The Bilmore has “watered down” the summer concert series. It use to be in July & August. Saturday nights and some Friday nights during both months. Now, they have limited the summer concert series to just a very few weekends in August.
This is my story and I’m sticking to it! At the end of the day when the sun is setting and the cows are coming home, there is no one I would rather see than……

Can you dig it (yes I can)Hey, don’t get me wrong! I’ve been a fan of Chicago since the first record came out. Saw them in 1972 or 1973 at a
“Saturday in the park”!You were probably just a glimmer in your parents eyes at that time! 😆
The second instrument I ever played was a trumpet and was a big fan.
But, I will stick to my story!

ParticipantActually, I was a couple years old during the times you mention, but I take your point. The Cubs play “Saturday in the Park” at every Saturday afternoon game, and let me just say, I can dig it.
Chicago is now a band to be listened to via their recordings. Unlike Bruce, their best live performing days are behind them.
