can anyone tell me if there are any shows at brucehorsnbylive.com that have as close to the original version of valley road as there is live, i have listened to some of the previews and most of them sound different from the original song, i know he has done this song differenty, for some reason, i can’t listen to the previews from the 2002 and 2004 shows, it says wrong playlist format, any info is appreciated, as you can tell i really like the original version of this song
Oh gosh… I’m not altogether sure that Bruce has done “Valley Road” anywhere near the way it was doe on the original album since he was touring with the Range back when that song was on the radio. Probably the closest to that version that I can remember might have been on the “Sensitive Ones” (touring with Bonnie Raitt, Shawn Colvin, Jackson Brown, and David Lindley) tour back in the late 90s. I’m sure someone in this group has some recordings from the early days. Good luck.

I have all the 2002 shows from BruceHornsbyLive.com and can confirm that of the 3 times that The Valley Road is performed, none are like the original album version. Sorry.
