I may have a future musician on my hands. I found it amazing that my five year old son Junior found a preference with Bruce’s music.

I put the older One Night On the Town DVD and Junior says to me…That is too slow, I want the fast one. Meaning he prefered the Three Night On The Town DVD with the Noisemakers over the One Night On The Town with the range.

Its amazing to me a five year old would have the ear for rhythm. 😯

    Whats your Preference???????

That’s pretty cool that your son is developing his own pereferences and taste at 5!

I like them both, but my preference is still the original on the Night On The Town album.

This song is typical of a lot of Bruce’s songs – it is possible to hear soooo many different ways of performing the song. At times, I thought that it would be a great song to do as a slow old-timey acoustic blues song, maybe with a slide guitar thrown in. Think of the version of The Way It Is that Cruize Henderson did on the Shadow Hands project, and you’ll get kind of what I was thinking, except maybe with a little more chunky acoustic guitar at times.

I prefer the noisemakers stuff hands down – ’tis a no-brainer.

It would be interesting to hear Bruce revisit songs from his back catalogue and rework them with the noisemakers in the studio… ah yes,- I can imagine sonny going crazy on “the wild frontier”

    Kind regards
