On the grateful dead’s official website, they now have the Road Trips Vol 2. Series 1 featuring the 1990 MSG tour with Bruce on grand piano. This is a must have for all fans. To get to hear his work on hdcd finally is great. I definitely have mine pre-ordered. Its set to release on December 10th.

That sounds like one to order. I never did get to see Bruce play with the Dead.

“Road Trips MSG ’90” was just dropped off via UPS about an hour ago…so far, so very good.

The audio is great, one somewhat jarring edit from one night to another, but whaddaya gonna do? ;)

Set list (aggregate) is cool, but I agree with Mike C — the ’91 MSG shows were a bit better. However, putting things in perspective, a fine set of discs nonetheless!

    Posting madness continues…sorry! 😆

Just got the payoff for the price o’ the set (which wasn’t extravagant at all, I’m just sayin’):
track 9, disc 1 (the jam out of “Let It Grow”) is roughly 10 mins. of Bruce and Jerry dueling/noodling with/at each other, and Bob chiming in every so often…fantastic.
