ParticipantHey everyone-
Im new to the board but not to Bruce. I recently got engaged and my fiance and I were hopeing that somebody out there has a full rendition of the song Love Me Still. The version on Intersections is cut quite short. So if anyone out there has a great quality version of Love Me Still, please let me know. It would really make our wedding that much more special, since we probably can’t get Bruce to show. Thanks to everyone in advance!!!
Please email me at gprice13@mac.com

ParticipantThanks everyone for the few replys/emails. Just to clairify, we don’t want the Chaka version. We want Bruce, the man himself, to be singing. Like the version on Intersections, just the full song. Thanks!!!!!

ParticipantLooking at the list above, I see that Copenhagen 9/22/04 is on the list. You could go to brucehornsbylive.com and get the whole show for 14.95 (or 16.95 for the FLACs) and have the tune you want for the wedding and the rest of the show too! Hope this helps you out.

ParticipantIf you don’t want the Chaka version, and you can’t find a full Bruce version, I would wholeheartedly recommend the version that Megan Metcalfe performed on the “Strike Three” project. A classic case of a beautiful voice performing a beautiful song. You can’t go wrong there.

[ Post made via Mobile Device ]Thou art far too modest, Megan, which is actually a very refreshing trait in someone so talented. FYI, I put together a “best of” single CD of the 3 projects so far for some friends in the poker league I play in, and your 2 tracks got the most rave responses — so much so that a couple of them have gone out and bought your latest album! Now, if I can just get Hunter Hughes (a local DJ with a hard-core following, who does an “acoustic and eclectic” format show) to play your stuff on his radio program, we might have an excuse for you to come out this way and play.

ParticipantHow do I keep missing these wonderful, flattering posts…
Rich, thank you. For all your kind comments and musical support. I’m really excited to hear about those guys buying the album. The tribute albums are an embarrasment of riches, really, I’m honoured to appear on them with such a talented group….Let me know if you can bend the ear of the DJ! I want to come on down there and play!
