Walking Infraction
ParticipantI see you all with your pics of yourselves and the man himself… (and I am *jealous*!) If I wanted to get backstage passes for the St. Louis show Nov. 19, how should I go about it? Should I just drop all your names?

ParticipantSearch the topic from this board: “Has anyone ever gotten to party with Bruce? Curious Question” to find out the best ways to get backstage.

ParticipantI hear that begging and remembering to actually wear clothes to the show will help

ParticipantI got a nice e-mail from Patti… she says she’s going to add me to the list cleared for the backstage after party (!holy cow!) but can’t guarantee that Bruce will actually be there. I’m ten kinds of nervous!

No need to be “nervous”! More than likely, Bruce will show. Just remember, he puts his pants on one leg at at a time just like you do! 😆 I’m sure he will like you!
My only advice, for whatever it’s worth…..Remember Bruce is a piano player. Give him a “soft” “piano player” type of handshake. Not a “vice grip”, if you know what I mean. Bruce will appreciate that!
Enjoy!
That’s my story and I’m stickin to it!

ParticipantOne sure-fire way to meet The Man…
Piss him off during a solo show, then run into him at the hotel and beg forgiveness. Works every time, huh David??!!
Actually, I am your everyday fan 🙄 , but I have not attended a concert yet when I didn’t get to meet him before the show, during the sound check, or after the show. It helps if you chat up the security guards before the show. I got backstage at the Biltmo’ once that way. I’ve got his autograph all over the place here…teddy bears, shirts, liner notes, CD cases, posters, my brother Tom’s b-day present, etc. I think my “relationship” with Bruce is at the “Hey, I know you, have a great time” stage, but not too far from the “Oh Lord, there she is again. SECURITY!!!!” stage. 😳
BTW, not only am a FOB here on the Board, but I am also a Friend of Boyds (teddy bears). I have lots of items that say FOB on them…..Hmmm, maybe a lucrative venture to my FOBs here??????

Lake Lanier, GAWatch it, bud. You’re treading on some pretty thin ice, there.
From what I have observed, the women outnumber the men on this forum…Don’t make us gang up on you.
Miss Virginia Former (I’ve decided that I am WORTH spelling the whole thing out).
