ParticipantThe official site seems to be undergoing a renovation this morning. Do Bryan and/or Si have anything to do with this?
So far, many of the functions of the old site are absent. Hope things like the Guestbook and the Press area, with all the clips and links, return!

KeymasterNot my work or, sadly, Bryan’s.
None of my busines, but I’m hoping that Bryan is retained, as nobody has done as much as he has to keep the Hornsby community informed, and I mean far beyond the little gathering we have here.
He’s worked around the clock at unholy hours to bring new content to us the minute that it becomes available (I know this because i’m copied into the same e-mails, and he always beats me to it!)
I sincerely hope that Bruce’s new management team (who made the call for a new website) recognise that and keep him on.

ParticipantIf it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I had no problems with the old site. Was a good compliment to this one. Hopefully they “bring it back”

ParticipantI agree…not sure I like the new changes to the official site. Loved the old one. Bryan did great work at keeping us up to date. Just not sure I can get used to the new look. Some things on the new site need some fixing already…at least that I noted. But I do some graphic design and web design myself…so I notice those little things. Don’t worry Si…nothing wrong here!! Keep up the great work!

ParticipantRed Light should have thrown Bryan a bone. The former site was great. Maybe a minor redesign and some added functionality — but no need for a complete overhaul! 😡

ParticipantYou folks are wayyyy too nice. We’ll see what the future holds – I’ve not been kicked to the curb, just waiting to see what the next steps are. I’ll let you know – and no matter what it’s always been a great ride and I’ve been treated better than I deserve!

ParticipantThe new site looks pretty basic and most of the links don’t work and haven’t for awhile now.
So how long is it going to take to fix them.
I want to buy that shirt that is shown.September 23, 2010 at 12:53 am #32217David Day
ParticipantObviously a “business decision” to try to reinvent the wheel! I don’t like it, and…..That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it! 😆
Still havin’ a ball!

ParticipantWell, at least the Guestbook has returned … it’s under the “Community” button now, and Bruce last replied on Sept. 1. Still many non-functioning links, though.

ParticipantI noticed the guestbook was there from day one. I guess I was just the smarter one of the two of us and figured to look under “community”.

ParticipantHeeeeyyyyyy … I thought I clicked on “Community” and nothing happened. You’ve just got the magic touch, Mary! ;p

ParticipantI laugh every time I hit the “Music” button, and I get the “Music — Coming Soon!” line, as if Bruce were some freshman artist about to release his first disc of music! 😡

ParticipantYa, I’m not a happy camper with that new site of his. In fact, I posted a question about that on his guestbook. We’ll see what he has to say about it. I’m still smarter than you, though.
