ParticipantYeah, I’ll second that…thanks for the link.
The cover kills me — the same bizarro mock-serious tone of Charlie H’s mug on “Spirit Trail.” Coulda been presented a tad sillier, but this way is both provocative AND more giggle-inducing.
The 429 site is a bit screwy; it says that the BH page is “Gin Blossoms” (phew!), and the track list for the album samples is all jumbled and mislabeled. One example — the track entitled “intro/Bobby Read” is actually a Bruce solo piece (one that sounds VERY SUSPICIOUSLY like Carter’s “Catenaires” 😮 ) that leads into “Talk.” Whatevs…I got goose bumps.
Unfortunately, no release date is noted…

P.S. Catenaires!

ParticipantI’m a young guy, not old enough to be aware of when Hot House or even Spirit Trails was being released. Here Come The Noisemakers was my first encounter of Bruce and I immediately was hooked, and basically was the only thing I was listening to for a long time. I think because of this, I’m very partial to live recordings from Bruce. I’ve been waiting for a new “official” live album to be released since Here Come The Noisemakers, and the fact that I’m very close to getting my hands on Bride of The Noisemakers gives me the chills. I can’t wait!
Also, is it known whether any of the 25 songs are from any of the Live Noise albums that have been released? Or are all the tracks from Bride of the Noisemakers brand new, never released?

ParticipantSounds incredible. Are any of these tracks on Bride of the Noisemakers the exact versions used on some of the Live/Free Noise released? Or are all of the Bride of the Noisemakers tracks exclusive?

ParticipantFrom what I’ve listened to so far (two thirds), they’re all different. A couple have sounded similar in the opening few bars, but turn out to be different as far as I can tell. It’s all good though!

ParticipantAll I can say is the songs I’ve listened to are absolutely flawless. I feel like I’m ripping Bruce off by only paying $15 for this.
White Wheeled Limo
Line In The Dust
Standing on the Moon > Halycon DaysAre a few that I’ve listened to, and wow 😯
After looking back, it seems Funhouse is the only repeated track from a previous album. I believe it’s the exact recording as the one that was on Dagle’s Choice, Vol. 3.

ParticipantListening again this evening, I’ve found that the version of Resting Place is the one which was included in the free Noisemakers Summer 2007 release given as a Christmas gift to supporters of the Bruce Hornsby Live website.
