I feel like Bruce and the Noisemakers could do an awesome rendition of it. Similar to the Live 1996 version below, which is an absolutely phenomenal version.
Sonny would have a field day with a 9/8 song that gives so much liberty.

As Si has mentioned,Bruce likes to pair “cover” songs with his original compositions. Which one of his songs do you think would go well with “I Hung My Head”?
By the way, have you heard Johnny Cash’s version of the song?
