The same site has the “Gathering of The Vibes” lineup listed, and it appears that BH with Weir AND Branford is the 3rd act from the headliner, the (IMHO lackluster) Jay Lane/Les/Ler edition of Primus being the headliner. Dweezil And Some Rock School Kids Play His Dad’s Music is also on the bill. Between Primus and Weir/BH/Branford is “Phil and Friends,” which may OR may not include Molo, as Molo was/is a member of Phil’s “Q” (for quintet, natch) who are reuniting for some late April dates…also according to Hidden Track/Glide. (Check out that pic of Molo — with that goatee/mustache combo he’s looking like Tom Noonan’s character in Mann’s “Manhunter.” 😈 )

The “Vibes” dates are listed as July 19-22 — take your sunscreen and plenty of cashola to buy horribly over-priced bottles of Poland Spring H2O, ‘cuz late July is no time to be voluntarily hanging out in Bridgeport…unless you like sunburns, heat-stroke, and the nauseating stench of the Long Island Sound as it laps up on the rocks of mid/central Connecticut.
All of New England has had record high temps this season, with probably even more to be set this upcoming year, so you’ve been warned. I lived just under 5 miles from said location for 2 years (’99-’01) and summer time was no fun…hopefully the city of Bridgeport has planted more trees and did some/forced GE to do extra enviro-clean on the actual port. Maybe the breeze will be blowing away from the Sound that weekend. 😆
