Anyone have any recordings of the few shows Moyes Lucas played with the Noisemakers filling in for Sonny, a couple of years ago?
I’d be interested to hear what he sounded like.
I know of two shows last year 10/14/11 & 10/15/11 with Moyes.
I attended the 10/15 show and I thought Moyes did a great job….the only thing missing was the drumstick tricks that Sonny does…but other than that Moyes added a nice rock sound.
I got to hang with him on Bruce’s tour bus and he seemed really cool. When I asked Bruce if he could play Lost In The Snow for me he said Moyes don’t know that one and Moyes jumped up off his seat and tells Bruce ‘Yeah I know that one’ and Bruce then says ‘ok well play it then’ and then Bruce asks Moyes if he’s sure he knows it and Moyes did the beat for a minute or so to re-assure Bruce that he did know it. It was great that he stepped up to make sure that I can get my request granted.
I have yet to find either of those two recordings but hopefully Bruce puts out the ‘boards of them after the show I asked Wayne Pooley if they’d ever be considered a release and he said most likely so who knows about that.Good luck finding a recording and if you do please let me know.
