Was listening to a show Bruce did in 2004 in Belgium.
He said his favorite Album he did was Spirit Trail
Wonder if this is true to this day or if some of his more recent works have made him change his mind…..
I’ve heard that one.
But he also says (on another of the Munck shows) that “Big Swing Face” was “the best” they’ve ever done, and that that’s why it was ignored in the marketplace or some such. So it’s “the best” vs. his fave which certainly aren’t/don’t have to be the same thing.
My personal fave is “Halcyon Days” (is that still noted w/this new format, SiTwi?) — it has a consistent sound/feeling, and a very pronounced psychedelic quality to it. It also is the ONLY one of his studio albums that I can play all the way through without skipping a tune.
