ParticipantI’ve been pestering Si for a few years now to have an interview with him about his history with being a Bruce Hornsby Fan, how Bruuuce.com has evolved over the years, where it is going etc.
I think this 20 days of Bruce would be a good feature for an Interview.
Yes, Si, I’m putting you on the spotlight, Too Bad get over it
LOL
I’m not a journalist or don’t have the equipment to conduct this myself audio wise, but perhaps we could come up with a list of questions on this thread and Si can choose which ones he will answer. Not sure if Si can do a mini plug for this feature elsewhere as I don’t know if everyone in the community reads the board. Pretty please si?
There you go Si!. I have spoken and its happening
So write your questions below and get cracking.
Here’s my questions.
“How/When did you discover Bruce”
“Do you remember when you came up with the idea and what motivated you to start Bruuuce.com?

ParticipantIf you were only able to attend one more Noisemakers show in your life, it could be at any venue, and you could pick the set-list in its entirety, where would the show be and what would the setlist be?

ParticipantJF1 thats a good question to ask Si or any Bruce fan for that matter.
I am always interested in what other ‘fans’ think are the good songs and what songs they consider duds.May 4, 2014 at 1:33 pm #34010A.J.
ParticipantAt what point did Bruce learn about Bruuuce.com and contact you or you him about getting together?
When was your first Bruce concert?
Where do you get a lot of your material/inspiration/content for the website?
What’s the furthest your traveled to see Bruce?

ParticipantThanks for letting us “pick your brain”,Si!
I think I remember you telling us you first heard Bruce’s music during a televised soccer game. What was it about his music that peaked your interest?
Who are some of the other musicians/groups you listen to?
Thanks again,
Jackie

KeymasterYou’re close with the origins, Jackie!
These are some great questions – I’m going to have fun with answering these. Any more to add?
That setlist question is a beast. GG is right – it could maybe a separate project going forward for all of our users. I’ll answer it, though!

KeymasterOkay, I have some answer to those now… including the beastly setlist question.
Any more for any more?
I’m going to turn the tables on you all as well, after the 20 Days project…!

ParticipantSomewhat like my first question, but if you could go back in time and experience any specific Bruce Hornsby show, which one would you choose and why?

ParticipantFavorite live rendition of one of Bruce’s songs. Most memorable show you’ve seen live.
