This show was awesome. Bruce was in a playful mood and launched right into his double minded playing on King of the Hill. They rocked through Resting Place and Funhouse. Bruce was playful as usual with the audience. During Shadow Hand, Sonny played the washboard and it was a magic moment between him and Bruce on Dulcimer, really entertaining. Valley Road was the new style. Pete & Manny >Barcelona Mona was a treat for me and really played well. They came on at about 9:15, I expected them to stop at Mandolin Rain with maybe one song encore at 11:00 and then they came back for another half hour, nothing rushed..Sunflower Cat was spacey and tight..Fantastic Big Rumble on a crowd suggestion and a nice Rainbow’s Cadillac finish. Very nice set list, great show. What a great group of musicians….when are they coming back?
Ahhhh, so jealous that I couldn’t make it. Had some fam in town.
Next stop, April in lovely, downtown cosmopolitan Keene for a solo gig…
