According to Si’s podcast with Bruce, it was definitely made clear that there would be a 2015 tour for the Noisemakers.

Any word on if it will be similar to last year where there were only a handful of shows? Or is there the sense that we’ll get lucky and maybe get 15-20 shows?

Update: We’re at 21 shows announced so far. Maybe another 1 or 2 will be added if we’re lucky.

I’ve seen maybe a dozen shows on an itinerary, but it’s unclear whether they’re solo, Noisemakers or “other”.

I sent a message to JV. He said last he heard…starting in May, about 6 or 7 weeks. Sweet!

I’m assuming the “New” Noisemakers. Minus Bobby and Doug…..

I’m sure you’d be drawn and quartered for letting any geographical information slip (just to engage our imagination). I know Bruce mentioned festivals, which are my least favorite thing (unless Sam Bush is your groove and I’d say go to ROMP) . I thought the mail-order 50th reunion was a nice idea until I considered the masses of deadheads who will miss out on such a short run. Now WHO will cut my grass while I’m in Saskatchewan? I’m afraid I can’t get a direct train from here!

So far the following dates have been announced. The release says, “We’ll be announcing many more dates in the coming weeks. Stay tuned…”

I wonder what “many more” dates means. 20+ shows, that would be amazing. I’d guess we end up with 15-18 though. Fingers crossed!

May 23rd – Bell’s Eccentric Cafe Beer Garden – Kalamazoo, MI
May 22nd-24th – Summer Camp Music Festival – Chillicothe, IL
    May 26th – Cain’s Ballroom – Tulsa, OK
May 27th – House of Blues – Dallas, TX
May 28th – Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theatre – Austin, TX
June 19th – Casino Regina Show Lounge – Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA
June 20th – Fargo Theatre – Fargo, ND
June 22nd – Thunder Bay Community Aud. – Thunder Bay, Ontario, CANADA
June 26th – River City Casino – St. Louis, MO
August 13th-16th – Peach Music Festival – Scranton, PA

Normally I would drive 5 hours to see the Noisemakers and would have definitely gone to the Kalamazoo show but seeing that I can’t stand the new sound/guys I probably wouldn’t drive over 2 hours to see them.
The folky sound blows to me…bring back the jazzyness.
Hopefully some more dates do trickle out and something is much closer to me then I probably would go.
I do get to see Bruce solo and play with the core four of the Grateful Dead this summer
so if I don’t get to see the Noisemakers 2.0 I will at least still get some Bruce this year.

The Williamsburg, VA show is already sold out. Damn! I was going to drive down there because there isn’t anything closer.

I think only the pre-sale “Sold Out”. I believe there are still ticket available… at least I was able to add tickets to my cart.

I’m still seeing sold out both on BruceHornsby.com and on the venue’s site.

Bruce is also playing May 14 in Columbia, MD at the Jerry Garcia celebration called Dear Jerry.

Lots of cool bands will be there…looks like a good time.

Wakey, wakey. All of you not in Forgone Canada and West should note August 16/18/20 dates in AC (NJ), Richmond (VA) and Florence (SC) have popped up. I didn’t notice these with the email blast about cancellations.

I was thinking about hitting the AC show. It’s been a long time since I’ve been there and would love to see how different it is, but it might be a little depressing.
Still on the fence…if Bobby & Doug were back in the band I would say I’m there.

First show kicks off tomorrow in Williamsburg, VA! Really hoping some video and the set-list surface. Maybe even a show recording if were lucky!

Setlists are starting to emerge. The most positive feedback I’ve heard thus far has been for Ross Holmes on the fiddle. Outstanding, from what I’m told, and what I’ve seen and haerd myself.
