As a sum up….the show was terrific. I love the solo shows because Bruce has complete freedom to spontaneously go wherever his creative whims lead….and he always gifts us with a spectacular performance. I didn’t keep a set list, but he did several things that are new from the next record, the Broadway show and the Kobe Bryant film. Another very memorable evening!!

I’ll have pictures ready to share before long.

I went to this show too. it was awesome! first time i’ve seen him solo.
Bruce was really in a hilarious mood, cracking jokes, like when wayne pooley came up on stage, haha.

I loved it, the stage lighting was great for pics too. if only i had a “great camera!” i did take some pics, but they arent ‘terrific.”
If anyone has any great ones, I’d love to see them!

I really loved the new song Soon Enough.

I cant remember what “I Truly Understand” was, is that the one he said was an “old folks” song? lol

Yea soon enough is really nice.

It’s that old “folk” song that he learned not too long ago

But yes it does sound like an “old folks” song too ;) LOL

Sorry Bruce, not a fan of that one….nor the dreaded spoon/skaggs stuff.

For the life of me, I don’t understand why some of you Yankees can’t appreciate a good ol’ Appalachian/folk/bluegrass tune!?!? :? I thought “I Truly Understand” was fantastic when I heard it last year in Boulder! :)

This Yankee loves it all…including the bluegrass. I’ve seen Bruce with Ricky and number of times and wouldn’t hesitate to see them again (and again….and again). :)

It seems some are hesitant to open up to it. But it’s Bruce and it’s fun and it’s lively and it’s soulful…what’s not to love?!?!

    ‘Course….I did grow up a stone’s throw from Beanblossom…
    :)
