*AccordionYou must have been the only real Noisemaker fan there, since I asked about half a dozen people what song he opened with (while I was trapped in the shuttle that I stood 90 minutes waiting for at Lot D-and missing the Sam Bush Band) and no-one knew the name. After the show I asked Wayne and he said HE missed it too! When the sound man can’t get to work it is a F’d up festival. My first,worst and last Floydfest. I left Richmond at 6:30 AM so I congratulate you on your journey.
Wish I had known you would be at both shows. Though I ended up doing ok by myself I guess. I had to park in the D lot too, but walked when I saw the line for the shuttle. I ended up hitching a ride with a local lady and made it with about 15 minutes to spare.
The sound went out for a minute or two during Mirror so maybe that’s what Wayne meant as he was def there.
The festival looked like a lot of fun if one were to be there for the full thing. I wish I had had more time to spend there, but I had to get in and out. Hitched a ride with a security guy on the way out, so all worked out well for me. Sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy as much as I did.
