Also rumored to have been JT’s final show:cry: but not fully buying it as Bruce didn’t mention it on stage as I think he would have made the announcement so I am sure its not true.

Oh, man!!!! I saw JT the FIRST time he played with Bruce — ca 1991 at William and Mary Hall. And now I might have missed his last performance? Say it ain’t so!!!! Soooo glad I got my picture taken with him in Raleigh. Also, I have one of Si’s tye-dye Bruuuce.com shirts with just JT’s autograph on it. Wonder what I could trade THAT for????? A recording of the Raleigh show???? Car fare from Podunk, NC to Nasheville, TN to see Bruce and Ricky at the Ryman????

It was over-heard at the hotel. JT was talking about that this may be his last show…retirement maybe…any ways like I said it was the rumor so let’s not get too worried yet. I don’t believe it because I think Bruce would mentioned something.

Si is right! What JT was over heard saying was ‘last show of the year’. Not ‘last show ever!’ :) Yea!!! :)

The Bruce Nation can sleep better tonight!!! :)…..

‘Thinking about hanging it up after this show’ was basically what was said…but yeah lets hope what you said is what happened…but if someone actually spoke with him since Aurora to confirm then thats cool it was probably just him venting or something…no worries then.

I spoke with him, GG – and he’s enjoying playing with that band as much as he’s ever done :)

Cool…thanks for clearing up that horrible rumor…like I said I didn’t believe it. The band wouldn’t sound the same without him.
