😡 man I just gotta a call from ticketbastard telling me Bruce’s show for Thursday is canceled. I was so stoked for the show and now this.
FWIW, the rescheduled show will be without Bela/Flecktones thankfully so that hopefully Bruce will get to play atleast 2 hours and will be at the Carnegie Library Music Hall in Munhall, PA just on the outskirts of Pissburgh on October 15th on a Saturday.
It is one of my favorite venues…the only downfall is that it is a seated venue so it will be a lame sit down crowd knitting while Bruce and the boys lay down some stanky grooves.Atleast, they were kind enough to reschedule another show around the same area and on a weekend as this place is about 2.5 hours from my home. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at noon on Carnegie’s site.

Lake Lanier, GAI just grabbed front row center for the Carnegie show.
I didn’t want front row left because I am a picture taker and when I am in front of Bruce the whole time I can’t get pics of the rest of the band. So I figured front and center will do this time, especially when Bruce plays the accordion and dulcimer.
Also, I can always wander over to him when he’s at his piano and take some pics.It will be sweet no matter what because I will rock out up front at the stage even if the people behind me will be weaving baskets. There is enough space between front row and the stage where I won’t hear the dreaded yet annoying whine of ‘sit down!’.
So its all good. Even if I have to wait another month and a half when the original show would have been tomorrow.

Lake Lanier, GASO I guess you have to have a pw to get tix? ANy idea when others can jump in? Saw Bruce at Wolf Trap last Sunday night, and as usual, the man did NOT disappoint. Seriously, Bruce is the most bang for the musical buck ever, easily.

Hopefully he won’t have a opener so that he’ll jam out for 2 to 3 hours instead of the 90 minute deal he did with Bela.

Lake Lanier, GAGod bless your blabbin’ password since the venue still had the tickets blocked at noon Saturday! (And of course the box office opens Monday). This was perfect timing since I had the WV ticket already. ps the Longwood Gardens stage had a sunken pit for dancing so all us longshadows who like to sit were appeased as well. Enjoyed seeing Si, Kat, Kate, Carey.
