Congrats to David Day, for his induction into the Bruuuce.com Hall of Fame! His posts have been thought-provoking, funny, informative, engaging, serious, well thought out, totally off the cuff, and, most of all… voluminous. Dave has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make this a fun place to hang out and discuss whatever (as long as it can be worked back, somehow, to “Stacked Mary Possum”). He deserves recognition because…. well, because he’s David Day! I think the best description of David came when Pete Townshend wrote that song about him where he said, “strange as it seems, his musical dreams ain’t quite so bad.” He is our leader. He is our guide. On the amazing journey, together we ride.
Dave, I don’t ask for much, but this I do ask…. speech! speech! speech!
Give us your 5-minute (and not fiiiivvveeee miiiiinnnnnnutes wheeeeeeeeeeen weeeeeeee reeeeeeeeead reeeeeeal sloooooooooow) acceptance speech. Make it simple, to last our whole life long. Don’t worry that it’s not good enough for anyone else to read. Just speech… write your speech.

Long time ago, way back when, I made a statement that I’ve since made many times. I can’t think of a more appropriate time than now to say it again!
At the end of the day when the sun is setting and the cows are coming home, there is no place that I would rather be than…..
