Absolutely new and in need of help :)

Okay…so much I want to say, so pardon me for rambling….

First of all, I’m no stranger to fan msg boards (other artists). So I know if I want the REAL info on an artist….gotta touch base with the rabid fans on well-run MB’s. Now as far as my Bruce background….I did have “The Way It Is” on cassette as a youth, and I’ve always enjoyed Bruce’s contributions/collaborations with other artists (Don Henley, Bonnie Raitt). I think I always thought that Bruce was the kind of artist that I could really like, but I just never found my way any further into his catalog.

Until…get ready to gasp…a music blog offered some Bruce songs as part of their weekly downloads. This gave me the opportunity to listen to some of Bruce’s music that I never would have heard (simply because I never would have bought the stuff). Since then, I’ve SLOWLY been drawn into his music, and YES paying for it now 😆 Take that RIAA! But I digress….

So here’s why I’m posting. I’ve done a few searches for lyrics, or the meaning behind certain tracks, and this site has come up on most if not all of my searches…so I know this is a place where you folks know your stuff. I wanted to kind of introduce myself a bit to you, because I’m hoping you can help me when I have questions, and perhaps you can help recommend some stuff to me as well. I can’t say I’ll ever be the type of fan that will own every album and know every track, but who knows! I’m also not into surfing the web reading bios and lots of articles, so I’m hoping I’ll get the concise wrap ups I need. I’m very excited to say that Bruce is coming to my town in a couple of weeks, and I plan on going to see him, as such some of my favorite tracks I own have been live ones.
