Great videos Dave. Was cool to see someone elses Bruce Adventures and where they got to go along the way.
While we are all on the note of sharing…I had done my photos of our family trip from Texas to Oregon to see Bruce…just in case anyone hasn’t seen it.

The “storm damage” part was halarious! I’m sorry you found the beer “fizzy”! Hurricane, fizzy beer, no Noisemakers, drive to Charlottesville, cancelled flight, comedy of errors! You just have to laugh about it! 😆At least we got a look at Lizzy! Don’t understand what a girl like her is hangin round a guy like you! 😆 😆 😆

Lake Lanier, GANice one, Dave! A great little adventure. So sorry that you didn’t get to see The Noisemakers, but you seemed to have a fun time anyway. Hopefully it will be worth the extra wait when you do get to see them perform.
Loved the report on the storm damage. Shock! Horror! A traffic cone blown over. And, oh no! Look at that picket fence. Torn from the ground as though it wasn’t fastened to anything! — I can understand the concerns after what happened in New Orleans, but when the expected tempest turns out to not even be a bluster, it does make it all seem a little bit comical.
Thanks for sharing.
Oh, and as you love the opening to The Show Goes On, may I recommend re-visiting the “Shadow Hands” project and listening to the variations by Patrick Alfers. Incredible stuff.

It was ALMOST like we had all gotten together, anyway. And, believe me, we WILL all get together in one place…..with no hurricane…….with Bruce………AND the Noisemakers (JV has promised me a dance)……..with our great big dysfunctional family….. in one place. Face it, the stars and planets HAVE to converge again. And, anyway, I haven’t seen my nemesis DPD in person for so long, I’m beginning to think he really DOES wear those ‘dreads. Please forgive the ramblin’ on…..I’ve just gone through a week of conferences with the moms and dads of the sixteen little darlings/hellions/devil’s spawn that I am teaching this year. I’m just glad to have “family” on whom I can vent, and they won’t think any less of me (DON’T say it, David!!!).daverich

I’m not sure chirruping anything would survive long in an english december,- although thinking about it you probably have more snow than we do…
Storm damage would go pretty much un-noticed as our garden is a building site at the moment – in fact it would probably tidy things up a bit.

Now, Mr. Dave. you come on back across the pond, and I’ll teach YOU a thing or two about “old school” ways. I’ve been working the past week as a Colonial American Reenactor at Alamance Battleground. We hold a Colonial Living Week for the local school children. In the past two days, I’ve seen over 800 students. So, ( since most of these kids think I actually TAUGHT back in Colonial times) I know pretty much all there is to know about teaching, old school, AND giving spankings.
