Participant10-29-10 The Murat Centre, Indianapolis is posted on Bruce’s page at nugs.net.
It was a great show in person. I’m looking forward to downloading it tonight and listening tomorrow.

ParticipantIt’s missing a couple of pieces … Fortunate Son > Comfortably Numb and Sunflower Cat > Train To Cry. Also, he did a little verse of Stella Blue that’s not on the download. Other than that, this is as great as I remember it in person.

ParticipantMan, I really hope he makes the next night 10/30/09 from Detroit available as it was definetly a better show. One of my favorite setlists ever…I got 7/7 requests that night plus the band was on fire.
Its great he’s busting out new live stuff but I really wish he would just put up the whole 2009 tour up for purchase as I would rather pay for the show I actually want rather than be given a few select free shows…that I am very grateful for don’t get me wrong…I just like having shows with a lot of my favorites in the setlist so I don’t have to change discs or skip songs I don’t feel like hearing.
I have been jonesin’ to hear Detroit again so my fingers are crossed that he makes that show available….I actually wrote to him shortly after the show was played and requested it for purchase seeing that the show took place in a casino that didn’t allow taping so hopefully he would bust it out someday.

I am so glad he finally put it up. I wrote to him awhile back asking about it and he said its on his list.
The only thing that sorta sucks is that ‘Lost in the Snow’ is left off…that was one of my requests as well.July 23, 2011 at 9:34 pm #32267GuinnessGoon
ParticipantAfter listening to this show its funny how there are a few moments where Bruce makes a comment from something I said.
Like one part you’ll hear him say ‘Im 5 foot three in Cleveland’ thats because I yelled ‘come to Cleveland’ and another part is when he is about to play Mandolin Rain and some goof yells ‘minor key’ and then I yell ‘no way original’ then Bruce makes a comment. Honestly, I sorta don’t like the minor key version because the original is just so good why change it to a slower slightly boring version. I wouldn’t change up a classic like that. This was probably one of my favorite Bruce shows that I ever seen no wait it is the best and my favorite.
The setlist was great he played everything I requested ‘Lost in the Snow’, Invisible, Resting Place, Walk in the Sun, Cartoons and Candy. Also the band was on FIRE and were clearly having a BALL.
The only downside was that it was like a 90 minute show if I remember and having to drive 3 hours to D-town for that short of a gig sorta was a rip but like I said this show was stella!
Plus I slayed the black jack tables….ohhh! It sucks its not a free download but its worth the jing especially if you were there….fo sho

Thanks for the heads up.
I just wish Bruce would make every show available for purchase like many jambands do these days.
He would make some extra cash and also make the fans extra happy.
I love having shows that I was actually at and be able to relive the jams especially if they are songs I requested.September 26, 2011 at 6:04 pm #32270treah

He would make some extra cash and also make the fans extra happy.I would be extra happy if Bruce would do this. However, from what I’ve read/heard in various interviews,it appears Bruce feels uncomfortable releasing performances that don’t meet his high standards. Has anyone else read or heard this in interviews?
This is disappointing to many of us “die hard” fans, but it’s also admirable;Bruce only wants to make the best shows available to his fans. Maybe this is one way to acknowledge that he appreciates our discerning ears….

ParticipantI love that Bruce keeps giving away these compilations. This is another cracker!
I too would like to see more of the full concerts, but I do understand why Bruce is reluctant to release some of them, if the performances or the technical quality of recordings doesn’t meet his standards. In one way this does us a favour, because we know that whenever we purchase a concert that is released, we are getting top quality. And I suppose for us die hard fans that buy most, if not all the releases, we’re certain to be getting value for money.
I hope we’ll see some of the 2011 shows soon.
