As far as a meet-up, I’m shooting for a meet-up at the Biltmore Inn with shuttle service to and from the Inn.

Lake Lanier, GAWell, well, well. At least I am, for the time being. All casts, bandages, etc. have come off except for the right hand. And they have weaned me off pain medication (sorry David, no happy pills for you.)
If ya’ll can bear with this one finger typing for a while, then I guess I’m back for good.
Ddavid, I think the best meet up place would be the line to get onto the South Tarrace. SO FAR, I ahave had the front spot every time.
I have my ticket, will probably book a room at the HoJo.
Since, lately, I have had PLENTY of time to sit and listen to music, I have revisited all of Bruce’ work, in cronological order. All I have to say, is, “What the h*ll was “Big Swing Face” all about, anyway.

I have to admit,it took a while for me to “get” Big Swing Face. I really began to like the songs from the album once I heard live versions of them.
Try reading the lyrics or singing them to yourself;there’s really great poetry and some hilarious wordplay there!

Time for check-in!
We will have a meet-up at the Tavern located at the Inn starting at 4:00. It’s a beautiful setting with a very pretty veranda overlooking the valley, mountains and river. You will like it! It is one of the prettiest settings for a Tavern I’ve ever seen! You can order food from the veranda and if it rains, they do have covered areas. It is one of my favorite places to have a Long Tall Cool One!
If you are not staying at the Inn and want to come, you are welcome! Please shoot me a private message that you are coming. I will need to put you on the guest list to make sure that you will have no problem at the gate or at the Inn. You are welcome! Please stop bye!

David, thanks for taking the ball and running with it. In addition to EVERYTHING that has happened lately, I have been laid off by the school where I teach. So, after 20 years of teaching, I am having to search the want ads, etc. My son just graduated from NC State with a Master’s in engineering, and he is having a hard time finding a job, too. 😥

Glad to hear from you! Hope to meet you at the show at the Biltmo’! Sorry to hear about your job, but maybe Bruce has something lined up for you in merchandising, selling bracelets and shirts. You never know!
At the time of this posting my wife and I are planning to be at the Biltmore show. This is always subject to change, but we’re hoping to come out Friday and staying until Sunday (my birthday). I’m looking forward to an amazing weekend and hope to meet as many of you as possible. I don’t think I have anything to wear that will help me stand out and be recognized. If I didn’t think I would get thrown out for doing so I would probably go shirtless and paint molo3 on my chest. But, I digress.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. My daily routine lately has been to get out of bed, pull on the pantyhose, and door to door of the businesses around town, collecting applications and handing out resumes. Thought about applying at the local Hooters, but…….(DPD can finish that one!Personally, I like the idea you had about going shirtless and writing “molo3” on your chest. Believe me, YOU’D get away with it better than I would!!

I’m not quite sure what to say to all that, but i’m sure Mr. Day will be ready to chime in! 😯 😆 My wife thought the shirtless idea was utterly ridiculous, but that hasn’t stopped me in the past! I’m thinking it gets cool at night up in the mountains, right? I’ll think of something else just in case.
