Thanks Molo but I’ll be staying at the Biltmo’ and David is well aware of me. Probably too well aware of me. 😆 I’m going to meet up with him at the Atlanta show. Looking forward to meeting all of you who are going to the Biltmo’. It’s been a dream of mine to see Bruce and band there. I sure hope I can understand all your southern accents. If I look at you funny, just repeat what you said and slap me.

I just thought of something: Molo could have his chest painted like he mentioned and I could just be wearing bells and whistles and somehow we’d get MVF involved with her panthose !! I think we’d get noticed and stand out in the crowd. Perhaps even get that front row so Bruce could see us front and center!!

i’m sure after spending the day in Atlanta you’ll be able to handle our accents in NC just fine. While I’m sure I have a slight twang in my speech, being from KY, it should be intelligible to you. I’ll leave the slapping up to David. I’m sure he won’t mind that nomination.

It is one of the prettiest settings for a Tavern I’ve ever seen! You can order food from the veranda and if it rains, they do have covered areas. Okay, lads and lasses—
What song are going to request at the Biltmo’ Sho’??I still have my little plastic rat, and I plan to use it to request “Black Rats of London”. At least, I think that’s the right wording.
I will (probably) bring my stacks of neon paper and black markers, for those of you who forgot their supplies.
David, exactly WHERE are we meeting?
My #1 request would probably be “What A Time”. I’ve yet to hear him do it live and that song never ceases to amaze me. #2 would be Country Doctor. I’ve seen it at nearly every show but that one also sends chills down my spine. Anyone else?
I have to say, I’ve been listening to Intersections (all discs) pretty much non-stop for about a month now, mostly to familiarize Mrs. molo3 with Bruce’s handywork. The show-stoppin’ version of Valley Road he does live would definitely be up there, but not sure if he performs it that way still.
One week from now I will be in Asheville, most likely roaming the streets, checking out Bele Chere and looking for a good local brewery. This has been the most anticipated concert of my life, Bruce at the Biltmore, and I can barely contain the excitement. Looking forward to a tremendous weekend with my cohorts from Bruuuce.com!

Funny you would mention “What a Time”. Bruce played that at the second Biltmo’ Sho’. He prefaced the song by saying, “…and now it’s dark. All sorts of things can be going on out in the crowd. And we encourage ALL of it”.
If you can get ahold of a copy of that concert, I think you will be quite happy. I have a copy. If I can get a disc burned in time, I’ll bring it to you on Saturday.
Speaking of which….I plan to be in Asheville around 12:00 – 1:00. Is there a meet-up BEFORE the meet up???????? 😆

As far as a meet up before the meet up, I’m open to whatever anyone wants to do. Our plans that day are pretty loose but I think we intend on being at Biltmore for the better part of the day Saturday looking around and definitely partaking in the wine and chocolate demonstration at the Winery. Mrs. molo3 only requested that I reserve Friday in Asheville for her and I but she is excited to meet my friends from here Saturday.

Ok all…Memphis got canceled on me. I’m trying to work out getting to the Biltmore show.
Any plans of meeting. I need friends..seriously I’ve never been to the Biltmore, so have no idea what I’m getting into.
I just was so sad about missing Memphis..had the whole family ready to go, the bags packed, the kids ready and it got canceled.
So husband is giving me a treat before my shoulder surgery, and sending me to Biltmore.
Anyone know if it does rain if I’m gonna miss out again? I want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row before I leave.
Working on getting my ticket now.
HELP HELP!!!!

A good place to have a meet-up before the meet-up is the Veranda where we will be meeting for the meet-up at 4:00. I hope to be there by 3:00 and I know others will come early as well. I should have everyone on the guest list by 2:00.
