Did anyone catch Bruce play with the orchestra in Miami? How was it? Anyone going tonight?

I have been asked by several people to do my best to tell you about the Symphony concert this past weekend in Miami. It was at the New World Center. Due to venue rules, I have no photos. But can tell you it was the most amazing show I’ve been to in a while. Not your normal Bruce concert though.

The New World Symphony is a group of talented musicians. They performed two wonderful songs with just the symphony players, but I know you are all wanting to know about Bruce.

He played with members of the symphony as well as Sonny Emory being there on drums. I had perfect front row seats. Bruce played one new song “Shit’s Crazy Out Here”, a song about Keith and his friends when they were young and world of basketball. Of course anyone who has been following the musical SCKBSTD would know the following songs. “Neighborhood Watch”, “Life in the Psychotropics, and “Where No One’s Mad”.

As always a wonderful set, short, but beautiful to hear Bruce play along with the symphony players.

Wish I could have gotten photos to share, but with this type of venue you have to follow the rules or loose your chance at seeing a wonderful concert. But the memories are great!

Hope this helps explain some of the wonderful night. They performed both Friday 1/30 and Saturday 1/31. I was able to see the Saturday performance.
