I found this article from a fellow named Kyle from years and years ago… thought it was pretty funny (and I’m trying to decide what content provoked the dating in each, although he elaborated on plenty),

It’s worth mentioning that he wrote this with tongue firmly in cheek!

    From Kyle:

I’ve decided to put together my own family-friendly guide to the lyrical content in
Bruce’s songs – based on the popular TV rating system. Use it to
program your CD changer and keep your children away from Mr. Hornsby’s
dangerous ideas – ideas that could possibly warp your childrens’ minds!

Indeed. Many “adult themes” lost in Bruce lyrics. Wonder. Who has a dirtier mind Bruce or John….Sad Moon should also be mentioned. “Do you need a date or just a little fooling around”hmmmmm

What about ‘The Good Life’…kids might think its ok to blow money on things they don’t really need.

What rating do you think “Take Out The Trash” would get?

We all know Bruce has some strange lyrics, but loved as always! What about “PaperBoy”? But hey my kids listen to them all, I give my parent approval!
