ParticipantYeah, every now and again I run across an interesting tidbit. I thought this may be something folks on the Board may find interesting.

On the other hand…..Check out the recipe for Stewed MVF! 😆
Who knows…..You might like it! 😆

It’s all good, as long as you don’t get to the point where you’re serving the dish, and the foods look up at you from the plate, in that special way that some food sometimes does things, and asks, “What The Hell Happened To Me?” Otherwise, you might not want to use “The Dreaded Spoon” to dig in to a heapin’ helpin’!!Rich

ParticipantYou guys are killin’ me! Sad thing is, with this diet I’m on, all this talk is making me… strangely… hungry? If I want to get out of these “big, big sweats,” though, I’d better pass on all the gastronomical delights!

Lake Lanier, GAIf there’s peach cobbler in the mix, it doesn’t matter what else is on the plate. At that point, it’s all good!
cobb-LER! cobb-LER! cobb-LER! cobb-LER! Hmm.. I see an organized Bay Days prank germinating….. hmm…..

So far the menu seems to be: Squirrel,Possum (as in Stacked Mary),Barbeque (possibly made with the two aforementioned entrees) and peach cobbler.
What vegetables are on the menu?
AND
Who is going to bring the homemade vailla ice cream to go with the cobbler?Jackie

ParticipantI can tell you this right off the bat (no, bat is not included in the cookbook), there will be NO bbq’d Stacked Mary Possum. Take it from the original SMP.
David knows me and I don’t do bbq. So Asheville better have something else for me in store.
