Does anyone have a copy they could post of the End of the Innocence where it transitions into Dear Prudence from the 07/28/09 Count Basie Theater – Red Bank, NJ show? I know I have it somewhere, but my lazy file labeling practices have come back to bite me when looking for this one!

My own lazy file handling has let me down here… I really must get around to putting everything in one place. I swear I’ve heard this.

It was much easier when I had a shelf of cassettes!

EDIT: Sorry @OSCAR – I thought I had this one, but I don’t.

I did some more digging and I don’t think a copy of 7/28/09 ever surfaced… but I KNEW I had heard Bruce do a cover of this somewhere. Turns out it was the Myrtle Beach show from 8/23/04. It looks like nobody submitted the setlist to Bruuuce.com, which is kinda weird since it was a pretty notable show with NBA coach Rick Carlisle guesting on piano and some rare covers.

Anyway here’s the “missing” setlist for anyone curious:

Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers
House of Blues
N. Myrtle Beach, SC
August 23, 2004

(Children of Zion) > Candy Mountain Run, Gonna Be Some Changes Made, Mandolin Rain > (Betcha by Golly Wow), Country Doctor, Defenders of the Flag, Long Tall Cool One > (Jungle Love) > Sunny Tribute (sing along), End of the Innocence, Harbor Lights*, Tango King, Hooray for Tom, Resting Place, piano jam > The Way It Is > band intros

E: Great Divide > (Jungle Love) > Dear Prudence > Great Divide

Notes:
-Entire Show with R.S. Hornsby on guitar
*Harbor Lights with Rick Carlisle on piano

Thanks, Oscar – that’s now up on the setlist page. :singing:
