Thank you, Jim, for your nice write-up! I was sooooo tempted to jump in my car Monday morning and make the trip down, but 8 hours is a long drive! (vs. 4 hours to Seattle)

I must respectfully disagree with Bruce’s recollection, though, because he (& a band) played at Silver Mountain in Kellogg, Idaho in the summer of 1998. I remember that even though it was in the middle of August and usually quite warm even at the top of a ski mountain, there was a ‘cold snap’ in the area and I don’t think it got above 55 or 60 degrees that day, and even colder as the sun went down!

P.S. I don’t suppose there were any tapers there?
