Anyone watching the Grammy show?
Will Bruce be a 10-time loser? And, rendering the point moot, has this award been presented previously, with everyone discovering if you’re quick enough to check the scroll at the bottom of the screen?The pre-show on the indispensable E Network had Seacrest and that Juliana chick interviewing/hassling peeps on the carpet, and who should appear but Charlie Haden with his daughter and son-in-law Jack Black, talking about what they eat at Haden fam get-togethers….absolutely essential, people. Believe it.
I realize that most of us here ain’t exactly objective, but if you check the category (‘best country instrumental’) it doesn’t look like too much competition…but then again, does anyone care about the Grammys?
Take it for what it’s worth, I s’pose…and I’m actually a bit intrigued to see Dave Grohl play with Macca.I’m sure that it’s quite a bit of fun to be there, though… 😆

Re. the Grammys — Damn, I’m glad that I was drinking watching that excrement. Made it a bit more passable. No pun intended…I’d forgotten how lame “pop” music is these days…always try to give it the benefit of the doubt (pop music and the Grammy broadcast), ya never know when a good performance will occur. Even if it is Soy Bomb.
Here’s my response to Bruce’s loss at the Grammys. But you know what, he probably doesn’t care, and neither do I. I just wish he was appreciated more by the music community for the great musician he is.
