ParticipantHappy that Bruce will be in my home town. Best seats available are 3rd row – show sponsors are hogging first two rows
Check out http://www.tuliptime.com for more info. Likely heading out to eat before the show – anyone else interested? The venue is a large church, so I think the tickets are just for the row (pew?!?) and then we have to fight for best view within the row.

ParticipantI’m going to be at the concert too! It’s such a shame that the sponsors are the ones that get the first two rows. THEY are the ones that talk during the show and piss off bruce!!! Anyways, what is there to do in Holland? Got about a hour and a half drive to the place. Later,
Lee

ParticipantBruce in Holland MI
I’d love to see Bruce’s Tulip Time show, but alas, none of my friends and family are big enough Bruce fans to spend the $$. Anyone here going that wants a tag-along? Let me know.

ParticipantThe Article at the Holland Sentinel
According to this article, Bruce still takes piano lessons. It also gives some interesting details about the upcoming jazz trio album.

ParticipantLessons
Still takes lessons. Amazing. I wonder how often?
We should all be such lifelong learners.

ParticipantHolland
Hey David,
Holland as in Amsterdam? Or as in Holland, MI? If the latter, I wish I could have gone, based on that set list Si posted. Bruce is rolling out the new stuff for the summer!

ParticipantWhat a great show that was….to the lady with no brain in her head …and you know who you are… you almost ruined it for everyone in the place!! When in Rome do as the romans!!!! DON”T EVER be the only one standing trying to take a picture on your d@#$ camera phone during a solo concert!! What were you thinking..and Bruce let you have it..although you should have been kicked out for just being plain rude and stupid.
Anyways,
it was a great concert. to the little man who got to be on stage with Bruce when he yelled out his request, Nice pick of songs. It was Spider Fingers and the young fella and his mother ofcourse, got to sit right up on stage and “chill” with bruce for a bit. Best time ever at a solo gig.
Thanks again, and remember people,
use your heads at these shows, for if you had, you would be mad too when Bruce walks off stage from your bullS#*@!!!!!!!!

Keymasteruh oh… I’m almost afraid to ask… she was stood up front with her cell phone? What was said?

Participantsorry about the delay SI, but the cell phone lady thing. Well nothing at that moment was said. He was playing the “new” version of Mandolin Rain from Ricky and Bruce. I could tell he was really pissed, but he kept playing (thank you bruce). Then it was time for the oncore. Well I would not have blamed him if he didn’t come back out but he did. He stood by the front of the stage and some people took pictures of him but when he went to the side of the stage that the lady was at, he totally ignored her!! it was great. when he sat back down at the piano he made a comment about it, don’t remember what, but he made his point and some of us thanked him from not getting up and stopping during the song.
So there ya have it. I am really sorry about not posting for sometime, just the schedule of life is full most of the time!!
Later!
