ParticipantThanks for posting this, Bryan! Very excited for Bruce that this will come to fruition in ’11!
Looks like a gathering of Bruuuce.com’ers will be inevitable for this.
I noticed that one of the co-producers of the play is named Mike Rafael. Is this coincidental to the song title? Has Bruce ever mentioned it anywhere in an interview?

ParticipantYes Molo3, I recall reading that or hearing an interview by Bruce describing that the song is named after the Rafael guy from the musical. I haven’t been wrong before so hopefully this isn’t the first. 🙄

Oh, here we go! 😆 I’ll have to remember to put my boots on before reading any of your posts, SMP!

ParticipantThanks for the post, Bryan. I guess I should subscribe to the Daily Press again, so I don’t miss any other important world events. I let mine lapse when I discovered that my work schedule and such left almost a full week’s worth of papers sitting around in a pile unread when it came time to take the recycling out to the curbside. Shame… I’ve always been an avid newspaper reader until recently.

ParticipantHey, what’s the 411???? I had to go away for a little bit, but now I’m back. Any vital news or info I need to know?????
MY SON GOT A JOB!!!! We can all breathe a little easier now. I, on the other hand, am still wearing my PJs until noon, glued to the tube. Hey, I know!!! I could home school babytweety’s darlings by mail!! Well, it sounded good at the time.

ParticipantRich, one quick question: why are you upside-down?? 😆 I don’t think you used to be. Maybe that’s why you’re having problems reading articles.

ParticipantMVF,
Let’s see…most of the news can be found on the Bruuuce.com home page.
Here on The Board, one of the biggest stories is the fact that Mr. David Day, the original Czar Of Blabbery
, has attained the title of Board Legend by submitting over 1,000 posts!
Congratulations to your son. I hope his new job is both intellectually and monetarily fulfilling.
Babytweety’s little ones would be fortunate to have you as their teacher. Just remember to skip the “Black Rats Of London” section of the U.S. History lessons ’til they’re older; you wouldn’t want to give them nightmares… 😆

ParticipantThey actually already had the “Black Rats of London” lesson in Dallas from Bruce back at the show in October, so I think they would be able to handle it anything MVF can give them. We also studied where praire dogs came from, found a cute book for that lesson.
After all when I’m playing “Paperboy” Abigail will come and start singing with me..now that could get scary.. 😆

Try checking your monitor settings or update your video card driver. After you do that, if it still looks like it’s upside down, I’ll upload a picture that isn’t upside down to begin with

ParticipantYou’re still upside-down, sweetheart. Nobody else is. maybe I’m the one that needs new glasses.
you never were upside-before so we’ll have to see if people are seeing you the same way I am. Hey, isn’t that a song??
Jackie?? Monica?? MVF?? Let me know if it’s me that’s nuts.

ParticipantMonica,
I’m sure Abigail won’t suffer any ill effects from listening to “Paperboy.” Since she has such an intelligent mom, she must have already figured out all the humorous nuances in the song.Mary,
I’m having the same trouble viewing Rich’s picture! I’ve checked my monitor and updated my video card driver, with no luck. This only leaves one solution: Our friend has returned from a time warp/parallel universe journey in outer space and is still suffering from the after effects of re-entry into this planet’s atmosphere. This upside down-sideways condition appears to be improving over time. It’s probably best not to mention it until he’s fully recovered.
