Bruce Hornsby setlists, concerts, downloads › Forums › General chat › How do you organize your live music?
I have about 700 Hornsby songs both studio and live (Mostly live). For live music, I make an album for each show.
So for example, I’ll have:
Salem, VA – October 9, 1997
Myrtle Beach, SC – May 25, 1999
Detroit, MI – October 30, 2009
etc
etc
However, with dozens and dozens of shows that I only have one song from, there are so many albums in my iTunes that only have one song. And it makes it tough to go through.
Just thought it would be cool to see how other people organize their stuff to maybe get some ideas from.
Here’s a guilty secret… my entire music collection is only to hand via iTunes. I compressed the whole lot to MP3 and stored it all, with one backup. The CDs are in a box.
Not visually impressive, but I needed the space!
My book collection is headed the same way… I’m ashamed!
