I had the best dream last nite . . .

There I was watchin some dumb parade on main street when I heard music and laughter off in the distance. So I wander off betwwen a couple a side-yards and lo and behold there’s a ditch. Not just any old ditch, but a back alley ravine lined with colorful but regular old houses. A raging blizzard was going on and it was dimly lit (think Mandolin Rain vid – only smoke -n – snow not rain).
Then around a curve at the top of the hill comes an old wooden grand piano on skiis of course with Bruce and the band. They are all singin and laughin like they are sledding down a mountain. Down the lane, ski jumpers wrapped up in Christmas lights are doin 360°s and backscratchers (w/ the good kind of lights not those crap LED’s!). Needless to say, this side parade is kicking the other parades ass. All the people there were more off- road and genuine than @ the boring predictable parade. Anyway, thats how I feel about Bruce, and this dimly lit website. Not everybody knows about it but I like the kind of people that do. Rough, rugged, more fun, more real than anywhere else. And thats’ where I want to be.
Thanks Si for your mighty fine site and for all the fun folk who stop by and say “hey”. I love to stop by (lurking and learning), and I loved that dream so I thought I would share it.
Now I just wish I could go back to sleep to that place . . . but I gotta go to work.
