Biltmo’ Sho’ ticket, I mean. Last one was an absolute blast ( and Bruce even mentioned my request on stage by name!!!!). I am already crafting my request(s) for this year.

As stated before… As Queen of da’ Biltmo’,
I am taking it upon myself to set up the meet-up there. Since I cannot even begin to afford to a room at The Inn, I can’t set up a meet-up there like Dreadlock Dave did last time. So I will be at the head of the concert line no later that 3:00 (probably earlier) with my quilt, chair, pillows, libations, and various other treats for all my SiBs and BiBs. Remember, I still promise a drink to each die-hard from the board that will come up there and keep me company. And, of course, I have become legendary for my Biltmore Vineyard Wine in a sippy cup.I plan to bring goodies for all the faithful. I might even bring my Andy Harley book of Bruce-inspired poetry (“Adored by your dad, I shall always support you; And I want you to be what you want to be;” and “Keeping up my strong self confidence, You can bet all you got I’ll get your attention soon; Just give me nothing but one chance to show you, What it’s like to date and adore a lovable buffoon.”).
I might even bring some of my Teddy bears that you can get the band to sign, or whimsical Bruce jewelry to show your support/fanaticism/stalking ability.
Oh, this is going to be an event to remember, and not just because I lost my car keys like last time!!!!

Having said that,I must admit I’ve never met a male chauvanist at a Bruce concert. I’ve attended a pre-show meetup which included the “Czar of Blabbery” in attendence;he was the perfect Southern gentleman.
On another occaision, I shared a cab with 2 male Bruce fans who were having trouble getting a taxi. I NEVER share my cab,as a matter of safety,but these guys were so polite (and stranded Bruce fans),I had to make the offer. I ended up making 2 new friends.
During the intermission at the most recent Charlotte,NC,show, a young man noticed I was keeping a setlist & asked if I would send him a copy. He was very polite,even calling me ma’am.
I know that rude male fans exist,but I have yet to meet one personally.

I’m up for that! Hoping to get Abigail a picture with Bruce. This is going to be her “Special Night” since she got her Outstanding Music award in school this year. I don’t know yet who’s more excited me or her.
Just keep in mind I won’t be doing alot…if any drinking of the Wine (Sauce as Bruce puts it)…because of little Princess in hand…but don’t mind if others partake! Hence why I have been designated Keeper of the Keys this year!

Well…this chick is out of here for a couple of weeks…of to take Little Miss Abigail and Prince Junior to their Grandfathers in Michigan via train again this summer(“justa passing through”)..gotta love that song! ( Could be good trivia..how many songs has Bruce song that deal with trains…help me out here..I need to make a new Youtube video.) Shall return to the fun in a couple of weeks….keep me posted on the Biltmore happenings!!

Now less than 2 months away from Biltmo’, baby! We’re staying up near Lake Lure this time, so we’ll be at Biltmo’ later than last time. I’m sure we’ll spot some familiar faces when we arrive and we’ll probably catch up with everyone by the stage before the show!
So, David Day, does this mean you’re in for Biltmo’? I remember last time Bruce did Biltmore was after he played Atlanta and now he’s doing it in reverse. Still hope to see you there, man!

At any rate, we’re geared up and may even have the little molo3’s with us this year. I guess you’ll just have to show up to find out!!

My Biltmore burlap is on backorder (say that 3 times fast) so I won’t be attending the Aug show. I’m not a bluegrass fan so didn’t want to spend that kind of money to have to split my time with Bruce. Besides, he’s coming here at the end of July (yippee for me) so I’ll get to see him then!! He’ll be playing only 15 minutes from my house and even though Bela will also be there, I can’t miss seeing Bruce and band since he’ll be so close!!HOpefully I’ll catch you all on the flip side.

Well, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed, but I certainly understand the logic in your decision. It’s a big difference between a 5 hour drive and a 5 hour flight! I knew you had a Denver show coming your way, so we’ll be counting on you to “fill in the details” for us!

Oh……Don’t forget to have your refrig full, clean linens, french milled soaps in the bath and the temp set on about 50 degress! It’s goin’ to be a Hot House! 😆

I’m only 15 minutes from the venue so swing on by. I’ll have the shed doors open in the backyard to welcome you. I know, I’m all heart. While you have southern hospitality, we have mtn hospitality. In other words, you’re sleeping outdoors.SMP

Sleeping outdoors? That’s not a problem at all! Just have the 660 count sheets, down pillows, candles and the “Maryier” mix on the Veranda! We’ll be just fine! I know that your bushes probably need to be “watered” as well! 😆
Oh…..Don’t forget to bring the beer cooler out too! We may also need about a 100 rolls of TP to roll your yard! 😆

Well, now, I’d like to get in on the festivities! It’s too late to rescind your invite to Denver you gave us at Biltmore last time, mary! The Denver show falls on my birthday and what better gift than to be flown out (got that jet fixed yet?) and given the royal treatment by the ever-hospitable, SMP! You won’t have to worry about my accomodations, though, I’ve been watching Man vs. Wild and think I can survive at least one night out in the mountains!
