Hey gang, For reasons that I can’t begin to describe, I have been out of commission for a looooooong time. And I don’t (and won’t) have time to go back in history ( way back there, a long time ago, hope I remember the words…) to catch up on everything and everybody (haven’t even developed my pics from Bay Days yet!!). Anybody care to give me a quick synopsis of what I’ve missed??? And hopefully, somebody OTHER than Mr. DPD. You KNOW you can’t trust what HE says!

I haven’t been on much myself. Suffering this neck and shoulder pain. And now, my gout is acting up. Darn arthritis. I can’t wait for winter to be over. Someone turn the heat up!!!! 😆
But I have to thank Si for those new daily doses. The downloads were helpful in pain relief. I know you are very busy, but thanks for taking the time to put those up there. The 20 minutes of relaxing and not having to think about my pains helped alot. Bruce always works his magic on that piano, something about it just makes me feel better….and all just in time for my birthday coming up March 8th. …mmm, do we get to make song requests for our birthdays?????
Ok…enough about me. Anyone else out there???????????????

Went on a second interview today. They asked what my salary requirements were. I said, yes, I would like to have one. (tee-hee) I took the highest one stated in the job listing, and my salary at my old job, and met in the middle. Still waiting for call back.
Yes, David, this post DOES have something to do with Bruce. During my two interviews, I heard THREE Bruce songs!!! By the original artist!!!! This will be a GREAT place to work.

Glad you’re back in the fray with us! I think SMP’s arms were getting tired trying to hold back the surge. Come to think of it, where has SMP been hiding these days? Probably out scouring the country for prairie dogs. 🙄
As for the Biltmo’, I’m keeping fingers crossed on that one. I think we would have heard something by now. No?
We’re thinking of going back to Asheville the last weekend in July* for the Bele Chere Festival. It was going on the same weekend we went to see Bruce at Biltmo’ last year and was such a blast. Anyone else interested in checking it out, drop me a PM. Mrs. molo3 and I would love to hang out with some Bruuuce fans and have “a drink or a few”…

MVF, I’ll cross my fingers that you get the job! Yes, Jackie, Monica and myself were taking on DPD and Molo3 and we crushed them. I’ve just been in rest mode since our victory and I’m sure they’re sulking in their defeat. 😆
As far as I can tell, I don’t think there’s going to be a Bruuuce show at the Biltmo’ this year unless they add him. I looked earlier this week and the Biltmore has their schedule out but with no Bruce. 😥 We can always hope and pray for an add-on.
Monica, try to get well and stay that way. Jackie, good to hear you’re still riding the waves….whatever that means. I just made that up.

For our next get-together, just ask SMP to swing by and pick you up. She has her own private plane. At least that’s what she told me. 😆
My guess is Bruce is working on the Broadway production. He was nearly everywhere in ’09, doing TV, late night and lots of touring. He’s a family man as well, so I’m sure he’s enjoying a well-deserved break.

Molo3, yep, I think you’re right for once….not about the plane part but about Bruce working on the Broadway show. To Bruce’s standards, he’s probably never really laying low (although he should), but doing 107 different projects all at once. If only I had his energy and I’m younger than he is by 13 years. Ok, maybe not that many. 🙄
Monica, there’s no way you’re doing that 37+ hour bus ride again. We can put together a ‘Monica’ fund and all pitch in and get you a plane ticket, even though it’s not on my plane that Molo3 speaks of.

If Bruce schedules a show in Dallas this year I think that would be a great meeting spot. It should be warm weather, there’s a lot of other stuff to see and do and Monica wouldn’t have to travel too far.

Now Dallas would work for me. I’ve never been to TX. Switched planes there (again, a commercial plane, not my personal one ha) but never have visited there.

By the way, no one is buying this whole thing about you flying commercial. We know you’re a jet-setter, so just embrace it!

Unlike you, I don’t have a private jet to take me anywhere and everywhere at a moment’s notice! I’ll just assume you’ll pick everyone up and meet me at my local airport. I’ll leave the light on for ya!
I think I associated Denver with Canada because any time there is a commercial pertaining to Denver (mostly Coors) they always show snow-covered mountains and mention the Rockies and skiing. I don’t want anything to do with cold weather, snow or skiing. If it ever gets up to 90 degrees consistently in Denver then I’ll make a consideration.

Ok, so we got the plan down: I’ll pick everyone up at their appropriate airport and then we’ll come get you, Easter suit or not.
Now Denver can have over-the-top hot summers. We’ve had summers with it over 100 for many consecutive days. Give me snow any day!!
