What’s the story behind that song? I found it intriguing and somehow disturbing, and four months after first hearing it, I had written a 400-page novel based on its story. I’d be interested in hearing what kickstarted that tune.

I believe Bruce has said he based the lyrics on a factual account he read in a newspaper. Seems like it was in the Northwest U.S., but I’m not sure.

I’ve had an offer from a literary agent, but didn’t think her capable, so I’m still shopping it around. It may sound cocky, but I believe it will be printed, and ultimately made into a movie. Yeah, I know, I know, but a guy needs to have confidence. Plus it’s just plain a great story.
I’d bet Bruce would get a charge out of it.
I’m real curious how the real life story turned out………….
