hey now!
I noticed in a previous post that it is ‘old news to some’ that bruuuuuce was recording the louisville show. Does this mean it will be up for sale at some point, or that I may get a sog or two on a future cd and should expect this show to -not- circulate?

i guess at this point its open for speculation only, but i would guess that he is going to release the full show for purchase as did for previous shows. i would imagine that someone out there has a recording of this and perhaps we’ll see a song or two leak out. I went to the show and they were really really adamant about recording devices of any kind.
yeah…thye had signs and everything. regardless, i am sure someone stealthed it . (I would have if i thought it was just the venue’s issue and I had a heads up to be ready, but alas I was caught off guard) knowing now it was bruuuuuce’s idea makes me feel less bad that i did not tape it.

if you ever read these….please release this one for sale. I have seen you perform many times and was totally struck by this show as one of the best.I would be happy to purchase this and give bruce the $$$. If he never releases it, I would still love to track it down….

ChrisAmen to that!!! However, I must say Bruce in Cleveland was almost as good as Bruce in Louisville…two sets, lots of stage banter, especially when the people identified ‘ Giant Steps’ [Coltrane] when BRH asked us to ‘Name That Tune.’ He was more than pleased when the ‘jazz aficionados’ got ‘Bouncing With Bud’ a little later on another pop quiz. BRH spewed great jazz and classical riffs all evening….Mighty damn tasty stuff!!!
