I heard a story on the radio today about a man travelling from the U.S. back home to England. He was at Newark airport and went into the Subway there to buy a sandwich. When asked if he would like a 6-inch or 12-inch he told the lady behind the counter that he thought that was a bit of a personal question to ask. She promptly pressed the panic alarm under the counter and the man was arrested and interrogated for 2 hours before being allowed to continue his journey.
Can anyone confirm that this actually happened? Seems a bit drastic if it’s true.
