ParticipantAnyone download BH shows from Munck Music? Their “Preview” does not appear to work for most shows. Tried two browsers on my Mac(s) and a PC, same problem. I emailed their customer service in the past, and again recently as I wanted to purchase, but never get a response. I’m leery of buying anything from retailers that can’t answer simple questions. Just a simple response if it’s broken would be fine.
If I pop for FLAC, and something crashes, I wonder if I’d ever get any help, etc.

KeymasterI can’t speak for all of them, but I bought the Woodinville show from 2006 just today, and it downloaded perfectly.

ParticipantSome of the ‘preview’ boxes don’t work, and there are a few ’04 and ’02 shows that you can’t download because the appropriate download boxes aren’t functioning either. However, the ones that do work download fine…
The only show I ever had a problem with (the download screen wouldn’t let me access the second download) was Gilford ’05 — I e-mailed and within a couple of hours I had my response and fixed link.
Lots of great shows on the site…I just wish that there were more!

ParticipantI think that over the years I have purchased all of the BH shows (and a few others) from that site and I have never had any problems downloading them. Of course I haven’t checked the previews in many years now, so I wouldn’t know about that. The most recent purchase was the 2008 Buffalo show. Again no problems for me and I have always gotten the FLACs.

ParticipantI’ve never had any problems with the Munck downloads, but I have sent emails asking if some missing and broken cover art files could be fixed and never had a response, despite the customer service page saying a reply would be sent within a couple of days. Disappointing considering I’ve spent about $300 on downloads.
It would also be nice if the files could be labelled in a uniform manner with correct song titles. Some of the concerts I’ve downloaded have been missing information from the files, like artist names and album details. And sometimes different information is missing from files within the same concert meaning that when I add them to my WinAmp library I end up with them scattered around and have to edit the tags to get them all into one place.
Still, it’s better to have the downloads and have to fix the file tags than not have the downloads at all!

ParticipantI’ve e-mailed “Service” a couple of times over the course of the past month regarding broken download links…received a quick “Hmm, that’s weird…I’ll check into it” after the first e-mail, didn’t hear anything, e-mailed again and have received nothing. Download links for Grand Rapids, Madison, and Ridgefield (all ’04) still non-functioning. Oh well… 🙄
