I was just listening to the stream of WTYD-FM (http://www.TideRadio.com) at work, and if I heard the DJ correctly, there’s a new “Brunch with Bruce” scheduled this Sunday (May 21) from 11 to 1, with the topic, “singer/songwriters.”

They just spent several minutes talking about Si and answering his question on song length.
thanks for the update. I only caught the last few minutes (I slept in today since a poker game ran into the middle of last night).
It was good to hear bruce talking about his work with chris whitle…. and hey Gnarles Barkley found its way to the tide’s (air)waves on this side of the pond right after the show.
fall tour
One interesting tidbit I noticed on the radio show, in addition to Bruce’s fondness for Joni Mitchell and Randy Newman, was his mention of a fall solo tour (no overseas tour; sorry).
I wonder if the solo tour’s in conjunction with Ricky Scaggs or just in support of the boxed set? The Ricky/Bruce record will be available next year, so I guess he’s just going solo for the boxed set?
