ParticipantFrom the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival’s Facebook page:
“New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival shared a link.
We’re streaming Jazz Fest from New Orleans all weekend long, with live performances and the highlights from Weekend 1. Tune in from 2pm CDT on Friday for music from My Morning Jacket, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Trombone Shorty, Bon Iver and more! http://www.youtube.com/jazzfest“Don’t know if Bruce’s contribution to the festivities will be broadcast, but it sounds like an opportunity to hear lots of great music.

ParticipantAwesome quality and great camera shots.
setlist:
Sunflower Cat > A lot to Laugh, Train to Cry
Straight No Chaser > Rainbow’s Cadillac > Who Know’s > Rainbow’s Reprise
The Dirty Ground
The Way It Is w/Bonerama
The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down(for Levon)
Tango King w/Bonerama
Jacob’s Ladder > Cartoons & Candy
White Wheeled Limousine > Long Black Veil > Just One Drink > WWL RepriseIt was a blast getting to watch this as it happened live feed.
I almost didn’t make it home in time from stalking out the Texas Rangers at the hotel downtown C-Town for autographs. Once I got to meet Josh Hamilton I bolted home just in time for Bruce to start.
What a great set and the camera angles were pretty nice.
The Noisemakers were on FIRE makin’ that noise!

KeymasterThanks for correcting my published setlist, GG! I wasn’t paying attention there at the end.
A fun set (especially enjoyed Sonny’s intro to The Way It Is).
Some of these will be up on the front pages as doses in the upcoming days. The Levon cover is up already.

ParticipantUnfortunately missed the beginning:
Sunflower Cat > A lot to Laugh, Train to Cry
Straight No Chaser > Rainbow’s Cadillac > Who Know’s > Rainbow’s Reprise
The Dirty GroundBut I’m hoping they replay it on the channel at some point. Otherwise, it was a joy to watch.

Didn’t mean to do any correcting, my bad. I didn’t know you put it up anywhere.
I was just writing it out for anybody to see what they missed if they didn’t get to watch the show.
I opened the link from this thread to watch the show and then back paged it to post my comment.
Hopefully somebody stream-ripped the show and puts it up on a torrent site. One thing that was sorta funny was that Bruce called the Trombone players from Bonerama by the wrong name…he called them Mona Robin. He says it twice and then later gets their name right.

KeymasterNo no – I wasn’t being sarcastic, GG – I didn’t list the songs toward the end and only realised once I’d seen your post. So – duly corrected!

ParticipantI captured the set and will be making a dvd of it and posting to a torrent site or two. I’ll also offer it here in case people here aren’t into torrenting. Fun set…

Fun set…..thats sounds awesome. I can’t make dvd’s anymore as I used to dl them from torrent sites or receive them in trades but my burner doesn’t cut it anymore as I would love to hook up JF1 with the Saratoga show but can’t.
I still have the Buffalo BH show I went to from 8/1/09 taking up 5 gigs on my pc but could never get my burner to burn it to disc so its just sitting there waiting to get on disc one of these days.May 14, 2012 at 1:46 am #33317hornsbytree

The Jazz Fest dvd is done. I’d be happy to burn a few copies and send them to one person if that person will organize others getting it as well. And Guinness Goon, I’d be happy to send you Buffalo ’09 too.
Send me an email at hornsbytree AT hotmail dot com if you’d like.
