ParticipantHi everyone…just thought I’d chime in. I’m in the final countdown to TWO shows within 45 minutes of my house. I’ll be going to both the 8/10 and 8/12 shows out here on Long Island. I’d be doing the entire northeast swing but this is the worst week of the year for me to travel. My son is becoming a bar mitzvah on Saturday and the family will be arriving all week. Not complaining though. Getting to see two band shows on this short tour is pretty sweet.
I’ll have pictures….

ParticipantI’m envious.
I sent J.V. Collier a message on his website guestbook, and he replied that we should be ready for some “big surprises” with this Noisemakers’ tour. Be on the lookout for a song called “The Black Rats of London”………….
PLEASE let us know how these shows went. We like to live vicariously through others……. 😉August 11, 2008 at 4:19 pm #30033sunflowerkat119
ParticipantMVF….and everyone –
There comes a time that all the superlative words just aren’t enough. It feels almost trite to say last night’s show was “awesome” or “incredible”. I think you all know that there really ARE no words…just a joyous feeling. The venue was tiny (425 seats) and the sound was just great. The band was tight, full of energy and Bruce and they guys played their hearts out for us. The spirit lingers…fanned to a blaze.

ParticipantDavid…
Glad you like it. I am really pleased with the images that I got at these two shows. In Westbury, I was able to move up to 2nd row, slightly left of center. I’ve just got to get through the next few days of family madness, then I will be busy getting some new photos posted from both the LI shows. I promise….I’ll let you know as soon as they’re up.
BTW…I’m not a professional, I just pretend to be.
Maybe one day…..
Tuesday night at Westbury was another incredible show. They played almost 3 hours (short intermission). They had to be exhausted, the energy never wavered. It seems like Bruce is working hard to not do many repeats. He pulled out a few gems that night.
