Does anybody know anything about this concert series? I’m thinking about driving up, but I really don’t want to do 7 hours each way just to find out I can’t get in. Just want to make sure it’s not open just to area residents (didn’t see anything about that on their site but you never know) and was wondering if anyone knew how fast the place fills up? I’m starting a new job so the weekday shows are out, but I’m doing Wolf Trap and Atlantic City and would love to add this one. Thanks so much.

The Townballroom is way too small for somebody like Bruce and could be a complete fire hazzard the way they pack the place. Its probably the same kind of place that Great White burned down. Somehow they squeeze 1000 people into a room that really should only hold 600 at most. The stage is tiny and the ceiling is too low. I haven’t heard a recording from that place that wasn’t ruined with boomy bass from the ceiling being a foot from the mic. Don’t get me wrong theres not really a bad spot in the house its just not that roomy for dancing and what not.

The place was barely half full. It was an awesome place to see the show. The venue holds 950 and I’d be surprised if there were more than 500 people there.
Excuse me, I thought Bruce could have attracted more people.
I usually see Bob Weir & Ratdog there when its packed with 1000.
I have never been there with so less of people.
So, judging by actuallly being there in a packed house is where my statement came from.I’m glad your first time there was a great experience though.
